January, 2008:

Community Information Nights held on Wed., 1/30/08 at Greenfield Community College, and on Thursday, 1/31/08, at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital.  Presentations were given by I.N.S.P.I.R.E. Board of Directors and teaching staff.

February—March, 2008:

I.N.S.P.I.R.E. for Autism, Inc. responded to more than 40 inquiries from families and  districts interested in enrolling their students with us.

Media coverage included Brattleboro Reformer, Boston Globe, Burlington News, local radio and television stations, autism-related websites, New England psychiatric journals.

Building and construction plans were finalized.

Fundraising efforts continued, with major commitments and donations beginning to secure the future for I.N.S.P.I.R.E.

April—May, 2008: 

I.N.S.P.I.R.E. for Autism educators continue to respond to inquiries and work through student application process and transition planning with parents/guardians and districts.

Groundbreaking for recycled building was held on Monday, April 14, 2008!  Building process proceeds.

June, 2008:

Continuing to receive and respond to applications for 2008/09 enrollment.  Student/family tours of school and campus begin.  Accepting applications for Assistant Educators, administrative staff.

July/August, 2008:

I.N.S.P.I.R.E. team paints, lugs furniture and materials, prepares to welcome first class of students!
